You think the Roku version of MLB is significantly better than, say, the Apple TV version of MLB? Why?

Hmm, I never actually signed up. It works without sign-in. The commercials aren't great. I wish I could pay to have it cut to the (cool!) Pluto.tv splash screens rather than see ads.

Two Apple TV apps I have recently discovered and love using: Pluto.tv: replicate the cable guide experience. Endless episodes of things like This Old House, MST3k, and vintage game shows. I much prefer Pluto content to modern HGTV-type ca

Reddit already has a fast, mobile-first site that looks almost exactly like the AMP site. Why do they put up with AMP and all of its annoyances? On a site where half the appeal is in features such as upvoting that are incompatible with AMP!

> I hate Reddit AMP results, and I'm happy that Google is telling them to fix it. Is there some kind of real news about Reddit AMP changing, specifically? I don't see that in the link.

Feedly and Gmail drop the entire menu down below the control. You're right, those kind of custom menus work fine. Note that the currently selected item is still always shown within the custom control. https://i.imgur.com

Here's a quick one (of many). In every dropdown menu you've ever used, the currently selected item pops up in the center of the control. The other items are arranged above and below the currently selected item. https:/

Strongly disagree that Craigslist should be held up as an example of a usable website. The Web 1.0 look is fine. But if you use CL a lot you'll know how bad the UX is, especially on mobile, especially compared to mobile-first c

So you set that for google.com, and then zoom in to see the non-mobile SERP every time? And non-mobile Google never links to AMP? I was hoping there was a setting for the results domain that disabled AMP.

AMP's not that bad for, like, a local restaurant website or random news article or whatever. Fast and mobile friendly, when it might normally not be. Bit annoying if you want to copy the link, but whatever. Fine. But Reddit already h

If the SERP linked me to Reddit, I'd have a cookie to saying I've dismissed the App pop-up before AND my logged-in account would be set to load Old Reddit directly. AMP breaks both. The links work perfectly from DDG.
