Good find; I don't think that product existed a couple months ago when I was looking. Purchased and fingers crossed that it snaps on tight!

That one appears to be an old model and is out of stock everywhere. And from the reviews, it does not seem to actually seal the lid of the pot. No better than the cutting board I currently place on top of the pot to "seal" the lid

Some enterprising Hacker News-type should source/market a nice sealable silicone lid for the Instant Pot pot. So weird that the company doesn't sell them. I'd buy 3 for my 3 pots. Easy storage in the fridge, all in the same p

Was there any recent Apple announcement or change in policy that suddenly allowed for this type of "free trial" in the Mac App Store? Are you aware of any other Mac apps that use this model, or any rejections for the same?

I'd use Pinning a lot more if it didn't shrink the tab down to its Favicon size. Wish it would also prevent you from closing the tab.

So weird to see the mostly dead http://crashlytics.com and its iOS 6-era design (linen texture!) as it's been superseded by "Fabric" and now "Firebase". Seems like such a strong brand name to kill in fav

The "how it looks" of Craigslist is fine, just like HN. The "how it works" is abysmal.

Didn't even add a bullet point for the TrackPoint! It used to be that ThinkPads had great keyboards too, pity about the chiclets.

Yeah, I have no doubt that you can somehow show this information via the command line. The problem is that it's hidden in GitHub's Pull Request web UI, where all of our code review happens. Committing the conflicts and then resolv

"Diffing the commits" isn't really available in in a GitHub-style Pull Request web UI, which is where 99% of our code review is happening. I'm definitely optimizing for that view of the merge over everything else.

On my team I've found that it's incredibly useful to commit the merge conflicts and conflict markers, then immediately resolve the conflicts in the next commit. This gives you one commit that shows exactly how the two branches m

Re-reading today's press releases, Apple's statements perhaps read as if they're delayed responses to the initial story (and are oblivious of the "my cousin did it" angle currently being talked through on the phone)
