Isn't it the EU that pushed for more details on publishers being public in general? I helped someone get their details registered on the Apple app store before their app would be delisted in Europe. If details are needed, actually veri

As far as I could tell, the article seems to be specifically about founders, not "everyone". Personally I don't agree even for founders since I've seen too many that end up just grinding the gears without producing value

Don't need to compete - demonstrate some ability to use AI in an easy to understand way, get bought out at valuation. Bad for investors, awesome for founders. Reference: Browser Company

Circle is the company managing USDC and is the one to watch for a similar number. They just IPO'd and will probably have more precise data in the next earnings report, but for IPO it seems they reported 2024 $1.5B revenue mostly from i

My first read was Google AI is God mode. They would earn back some points from me if they added a Konami code like entry point to the feature.

Yeah the article seems to not cover it, possibly to remain as negative as possible, but I guess it's only the investors that made out with mostly break even. The founders would still have plenty of stock to make a fortune on this - may

AFAIK there isn't currently any surveillance on search - searching for how to make a bomb does not lead to police at your doorstep the next day. But the police raid after a mass shooting generally brings up plenty of similar searches.

The JSON version would have also had the wrong encoding - all formats are just a framing for data fed in from code written by a human. In mac's case, em dash will always be an issue because that's just what Mac decided on intentio

I was curious to give Jujutsu a try but while procrastinating I found light clones and can't go back. Hopefully they support it eventually and then I'll get to procrastinate on trying it again.

In terms of (2), I wonder if it's even possible to write a driver without such a document. In the end, the vendor is on the foot for the driver for major platforms (let's assume Linux) - if they can write a Linux driver without a

If only the article was titled something like "No Elon, even you can't cut in line" and focused on that, it's such a great example of ridiculous elitism. Being just a small part of otherwise typical (deserved) anti-Elon

FWIW I came in from RSS and am glad to see the better title. Maybe not ideal, but as someone living in Japan, I can see what the official title was trying, but failing, to convey. But it is what it is and probably the best in this case. The

Do people actually get rich fast without loving their work, at least to a reasonable degree? Motivation is the most important requirement for productivity, not smarts (unnecessary for engineering where the main job is to understand tools to

Presumably either deference or satire in writing an article about OpenAI using Sam's writing style. Personally it makes Sam seem like one of the least intelligent business leaders, but maybe not hip enough to get it.

It's sad how OSS enables predatory practices by the mega corps. It's definitely not just Microsoft, Google, Amazon at least also behave the same way, and the worst part is how the audience is captive - if they're stuck on any
