The impact of the Coronavirus epidemic means that many companies & individuals can see that they’re going to have a short term cash squeeze this year - they have interest payments due & the income to pay it isn’t going to be there.

Finding where to login for SA is the one frustration I have with SA right now. Everything else works really smoothly, but I have to resort to Googling "self assessment login" every time. Solving this doesn't require a unifie

I have seen very similar bugs (the same text glitches for sure) under Linux (Radeon RX580, open source drivers) in the past. I had put it down to open source drive stack bugs, but maybe it was actually a Firefox bug? I’ll try and take a scr

Can we say with 90% certainty that a human would have saved the situation? Yes, given the misleading nature of the dashcam video I think we can. This was not a pitch dark road lit only by headlights where an obstacle "appeared out of

The video released by Uber was extremely misleading. Here is a video on YouTube of the same stretch of road taken by someone with an ordinary phone camera shortly after Elaine’s death: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRW0q8i

I always end up hitting Firefox’s readability mode button when reading Dan’s site. Normal browser width is just too wide for wall-to-wall text.

No one is saying git doesn’t have problems. It's just weird that you keep on conflating issues with Github with issues with git.

Nothing about your problems had anything to do with git & everything to do with the commercial service you were using for your source code hosting. Github the company is not interested in providing you (or anyone else) with free storage

The fact that you had a problem with github quotas isn’t really a problem with git though, is it?

Build rules for bazel are straightforward when you’re on the happy path & trying to do something that bazel already understands. It’s when you’re not on the happy path that things get awkward. E.g. How easy is it to integrate a new C++
