Which is exactly what the California government funded? Just in Utah via a non-profit. Seems like a win-win.

Arbitrarily? To how much? When building the factories do we know if Canada had accounted for servicing the American market (just the California market would be a 100% increase)

Sorry am I missing something here. If the cheap insulin across the border got the full brunt of American demand, it would obviously not remain abundant for that country. Even if this country (canada?) had price controls in place that would

Sure let’s do that. But as part of the deal let’s make sure $0 off of the economic output of the offspring of “breeders” goes to your Medicare or social security. Deal?

Now the question is will the landlords “trim the fat” as well and drop rents. The “2 months off” deals and the bankruptcies due to high vacancies popping up [1] points to the answer being ‘No’. Which means this is a double drop for the resi

This is a house, presumably close to a job. Not an optional night out. It’s by no means a “willing” buyer. Mostly a “I need this to survive” buyer. Homeowners with this much gain based on artificial supply constraints should definitely feel

Super cool! Layout estimation for deprojection is a GNARLY problem especially because people love white textureless walls. Tried some on fill3D from a dataset we had before (happy to share more), and yup: https://imgur.com/

Just to clarify the cameras are very well fit into the profile of the glasses, so it doesn’t look like “camera” glasses in person. Ray ban did a good job here. But on the flip side it’s very obvious when you’re filming (bright white light

Absolutely not. The application in mind only works when smart glasses and prescription/sunglasses are the same. This is not today, but no doubt where Meta’s (and Apple’s) major engineering effort is getting pushed into.

Is the cost mostly driven by labor? How much can autonomous pickers and “sharp shooting” spray robots/weeders help here? I personally don’t find gardening that attractive and don’t see how that is a scalable solution anyway, but have b
