Along those lines, how is that position not randomania? You’re basically saying that the signal to noise ratio is zero so its utility is zero. I guess you must think all of the comments here where someone mentioned how it helped them solve

The vscode version, for me, has tended to be a better experience, with fewer random disappointments [0], than the pycharm version. Which is a shame, because the pycharm version, if it got at least as good as pycharm generally, would probabl

Two aspects I can think of that contribute to a sense of ‘draining’: - how much one ‘masks’ one’s feelings - how much attention/energy one spends deeply engaging with the other thoughtfully Eg two very different examples of draining co

You’re correct. That said it’s kind of wild to me that the silicon lottery has stayed strong. They ought to be made to disclose when they are selling overclocker models that will not really overclock that well. Doesn’t seem right to have to

Have to say my experience with Intel and ASUS lately has just been one of shoddiness/instability- 12900ks + z690 desktop build has been pretty unstable just trying to enable the advertised features in the bios (xmp for instance). So I

You’d have to quantize the parameters to about 2.7 bits per parameter (24 GB / 70G * 8bits/B) - the model was likely trained at fp16 or fp32 so that would be pretty challenging. Not impossible but probably not readily available at
