I bought a PS2 because I didn't have a DVD player and wanted a PS2 anyway, so it was a slam dunk. I never bought a dedicated DVD player because I always had a PS2 or PC that could play it. It was the same with PS3 and my Blu-Ray laptop

Some time back, I bought/sold on Discogs in the 12" vinyl category (music_mike) from thrift store finds. I was able to throw together a Cordova app within a day to price stuff while I was out, and their API is simply fantastic. Th

Prior to on-demand content, I was a faithful "red envelope" subscriber because not only was it convenient (and I didn't really have to worry about returning a RedBox DVD), but Netflix kept _all_ my ratings for _all_ the movie

This article is written by an author who is pushing a book on emotional intelligence, and has paid for numerous opinion pieces to Inc. This is one of a series of articles to that end: https://www.inc.com/author/justin-b

Yes - I thought that perhaps "await" did something different in JS than C#, but that is literally its entire purpose: to synchronously wait for a call within an asynchronous method. Even Wikipedia says the async/await pattern

Well, it's up to the feed author what they want to include, and that's fine. To me, the point isn't "show all published content" in the feed, it's to notify me that new content is available. I don't mind c

I'm guessing you don't actually understand the complexity involved. How does it differentiate between normal ranting and hate speech? How is hate speech classified in the US vs Saudi Arabia? How does it tell the difference between

I'm a designer who usually cares a great deal about typeface usage. On your resume, I don't care if you use Times New Roman (but pick one ) as long as you can present your information well.

Not something I'd consider a glaring mistake, but it already shows me you didn't bother to look over your own resume in great detail. It wouldn't cause me to reject a candidate, but I can't not think about that.

Depends largely on the city. A few years ago, I owned a 4 bedroom, 2400+ sq. ft. home in Houston for less than half that per month, and it doesn't look like prices have gone up much (there) since then.

Subjectively, I'd say at those settings the WebP versions look slightly worse, though they don't suffer from the blocking artifacts native to JPEG. For the images I serve on my sites, a few KB here and there aren't going to m
