> Talented people already move from one coast to the other, so they could as well move to any other place. But any-town, USA has nothing else to offer them in terms of entertainment, arts, food. I live in the 77th largest city in the US

You could write a native text editor which can use JS plugins. Sublime Text uses python plugins and is nice and snappy.

I feel like this is a bit dangerous because it doesn't allow the end user to disable it if it breaks a website which is quite common.

When you submit the hashed password it will get re-hashed and no longer match the hashed password in the database. I'm not sure what you mean by having access to the system. If you have write access to the database you can just change

My favorite use of this is making a resizable box that always maintains the same aspect ratio. Padding % is out of the element's width. So width: 100%, padding-top: 50% will make a block that is 2:1 that resizes automatically.

It's not about market share of phones, its about market share of browser engines. Apple controls 100% of the market on web browser engines on the iphone.

Paying employees. Not to mention cost of the land, building, and repairs which are "free" in your own house because you're already paying for it.

A lot replies here seem to be from people living in large cities, but there is a whole lot more out there than just that. I don't live in the country, but the way my city (one of the top 100 largest US cities, that nobody has heard of)

Its not an all or nothing thing. Apple could provide at least one "old-style" usb for legacy devices and would alleviate a lot of pain.

I think at that point you're creating a new language or at least a new (incompatible) version of the language. In this case, why limit yourself to C++ at all?

I seriously just used this a couple weeks ago. Was thinking about implementing some more features as I had to drop down to manually editing the XML.
