HN's provider was DDoSed yesterday [0], I wonder if the popular website being targeted was HN itself. Either way, I do wonder if there is any relation. [0]: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=38939559

You’re not wrong. The FYP, at least for my unused account, is garbage tier. Hell, the latest phenomenon it has picked up on is meme pages used to advertise OnlyFans and gambling, and outright pornography and porn ads. Some of the worst huma

It is surprising the amount of claims (well, future promises) on here for a project that is clearly getting off the ground. Compare it to Ladybird's [0], where it is nice and simple. They're building a browser, but they're n

From a skim: while I agree with surface level details about deepfakes (i.e. they're mostly used for funny memes, humans are mostly capable of detecting them), I am still slightly perturbed by people using it to generate NSFW porn of pe

I know Ventoy has been around for a while, but I'm still glad we have a good FOSS solution for this. Back in the day, I used to run a proprietary (I think) tool called SARDU for the job, which worked fine, but wasn't terrific.
