This is great article! Very detailed and explains things on a low-level. For a more high-level implementation, I just released yesterday a blog post about ring buffer in Golang: https://logdy.dev/blog/post/ring-buf

I have a pipedream.com workflow that does exactly that, in 5 lines of code, it catches whatever is in the POST body and sends an email to me. You can check it on https://logdy.dev What added value your service provides, beside t

How do you plan to drive customer traffic to this site? As others mentioned, it's bare bones, raw search engine. I think these days, consumers need something more than just a bare choice because it's too much. People get paralyzed

It would be nice to put some examples: code and generated documentation, so potential users may be more eager to try the product. Currently, the website is not very descriptive and I'm not sure what I would be getting in return and I d

Interesting, why would you summarize the book, if the whole point of reading it, is reading it? A man once told me, if the book is boring to you, just leave it, no need to read it full. Not every book is interesting, turns out. The other ca

What is the difference between your tool and chat gpt where I just paste the newsletter or sec filling and ask predefined questions about it every time? Besides straightforward points like formatting, some automation, etc.

Nice project! Congrats on the launch. Consider adding a loading spinner or a different kind of loading indicator as running queries that use external json take some time to load. Also, I think you can explore a direction to advertise this p

My initial idea for a name was "logd" but a few projects on github already take that name. Adding "y" doesn't change the pronunciation IMO so you can say "logdy" same as "logd"

I'm not sure if that's possible but in the most simple way, just open a webrowser tab as a panel in VSCode so you don't have to switch between the editor and browser.

That depends on the constraints you have. Currently you can start a tail on multiple files if you don't need to distinguish the filenames in Logdy - $ logdy stdin 'tail -f file1.log file2.log' this use case is described here
