You’d make a good point if the result was the same. It isn’t. Truffles (or anything we eat) is not a single chemical, it’s a dance of every molecule that creates it. I don’t particularly dislike truffle-flavored products, but I know they’re

You’re complicating the two elements; They are interactive without javascript. Your answer is listening to native “open” change event, then reading this value and setting it back to the attribute via JSX. If the event happens at the wrong t

iCloud is good stuff, at least for ease of use. I use it to store my photos and passwords. Photos are then automatically synced to my Mac, which is then backed up to Time Machine. Same goes for the iCloud Keychain. You could say I’m 100% on

Loved EasyJet for that. I also had a buttload of flights planned for March/April 2020 and EasyJet was by far the easiest. I got a Trenitalia refund probably 18 months later and I had to PayPal-chargeback some OTA which eventually email

The 62.5 hack has been around for a decade before rem was even thought of. The fact that rem would be a better fit for it is irrelevant to the conversation. I'm just saying that using em and rem for sizing isn't as useful as it on

62.5% was specifically to bring the default 16px to 10px, which meant now 1em = 10px, at least at the root. With that, you could easily size your entire layout in EMs and, yes, keep it readable: .main { width: 80em } .

Yes, that's 1 of the 3 users I mentioned. How many people do that in practice? Just a tiny subset of CSS enthusiasts.

It's not quite the same. Firefox can change the default font size and Safari can set the minimum font size. If the rest of your layout has sizes set in pixels, then you will have 6 words in that "400px-wide container", wherea

Is a 10€ donation profit? Is a recurring 900€ donation profit? I already have to pay taxes on these donations. Donors get “perks” for the donations, so the receiver is essentially selling these perks and services. At what point am I respons

I’m with you on that, but the two are not mutually exclusive. I don’t know how it is exactly in Xcode, but in my field there’s a huge difference between importing a whole kitchen sink named “moment.js” or a few “date-fns” functions.

Nice! You don't need the HTML and BODY tags though. I think however this defeats the purpose: yes you're delivering the content as Markdown, but you have to deliver it as `text/html` for it to be rendered, so anyone fetching

> Stainless steel takes ages to cool down This also means it takes ages to warm up. It’s fine as long as we’re honest about the fact that we still need to input the same amount of energy at the beginning.

Turbopack only shares the original author and the general purpose. Unless they call it "Webpack 7" or deprecate Webpack, it's not the successor. It's as much a successor as Deno is to Node.

Note: what makes webpack “great” is its extensibility. Until Turbopack reaches that point (and officially they said they won’t) it won’t replace it. “Successors of webpack” is just more marketing as webpack isn’t going anywhere anytime so
