Wait till you deal with real estate agents, or any middle man.

If you want a non-negotiable price, just don't negotiate the price? I mean a firm asking price doesn't mean a good price.

Yeah but you'd have to set each one up separately, or buy/return in serial order (unless you have a great deal of capital). This vs. walking into some auto mall with like 5 dealers on the same day.

It's a big purchase, so you'd want to at least test it out in person?

Remote work has led to more meetings than ever was the case in person. Google Calendar's default 30 minute meeting has made things a lot worse so that each interruption is now at least 30 minutes.

This must be cohort-dependent. For me, Marketplace buyers have flaked out more than Craigslist ones. Forums are less useful/dynamic than anonymous Reddit. And I don't even touch Messenger vs. numerous other chat apps.

So you're saying it's like medieval lords, extract the same tax regardless of economic circumstance. That can be done without the roundabout via real estate.

Isn't the bigger unintended consequence that it makes plastic not durable any more? In some sense it's the wrong problem to solve. You want durability in a material but want a toggle (or condition change) to trigger an alteration

Even without a rainy day fund, which is an inefficient use of capital, the state could buy financial instruments to hedge a recession. Is it prohibited from doing that?

That's an illusion. It is not as liquid and there is no mark-to-market but prices absolutely do fall during a recession if real estate were to trade.

It's just about pay isn't it? If you're fine working less hours for less pay, that's fine. That was always the choice. Of course there is a threshold below which you get no job at all but that isn't the case mostly.

On the other hand, real yield is barely 0% and both nominal and real yield curves are still positive and in fact steepening. E/P should be compared to the real yield.

Altruistic behavior in a non-profit? The horrors. If they want to be a corporation fine, then pay taxes like one. Otherwise they should find ways to price education at cost, not at market clearing prices. I am sure they can, just hit up don

Total cost not that long ago (aid or not) was lower than the after-aid cost in your last sentence. What you're suggesting is to go the way of medical billing, total lack of billing transparency and fake chargemaster numbers disconnecte

Management is aligned because this makes money. Programmers do deserve $100/hr for what they do, the problem is whether it's what's needed. It's the same situation with tax software. You never needed one before but the p

We're talking about doing CS as a degree in college, not coding in a job. You don't even need to study CS to get a coding job. As an aside, those secretarial coding jobs will all go away within 50 years. They are only needed in th

A reflection of the electorate. There are enough dummies in California who feel the need to cry out through political power.
