My understanding is that this is a system which is recording the driver for review by human management at a later date. Which is very different from anything that would come pre-installed in a vehicle.

A similar/same technique is common in competitive minecraft pvp, where it's known as jitter clicking. There are other similar such techniques with a variety of names.

The above is an extension function(which is basically a member function of class not written in that class), which has an implicit `this` parameter. In other words `length` is actually `this.length`, just as it would be in a regular method.

Many people believe the intent was to prevent a glut of gaming gpus when crypto crashes. If you get miners to instead by crypto only ASICS or "mining gpus" then can't be resold.

In most cases yes, peer reviewers are not paid. These companies are pretty much a paywalled pdf hosting service hence the outrage against them.

A few years ago I contributed to an Intellij plugin with significantly less resources than the rust one. What became clear there was that external tools are glitchy, laggy, frequently crash, and don't quite match Intellij's model

My perception is that Nvidia in particular gets a lot of heat because they have bad/buggy drivers which integrate poorly with existing package managers/distros, not just closed source drivers. Anecdotally I have at least one issue

This may have more to do with the US not getting blown up during WW2, and the US being the largest single market(in the sense that everyone speaks the same language, has same culture, comparable laws everywhere etc.). And less to do with go

> Hong Kong has a very limited territory to build on, while most of the USA is free space. Yes, you are right on the bad government incentive. Hong Kong has limited space but aren't utilizing it well. Tons of it is empty. See the pi

I would argue this isn't a California problem or a national problem. It's a global problem. Example: Hong Kong. In Hong Kong the government funds itself in large part through property ownership. They are therefore incentivised to

The Concorde crash is complicated. That narrative leaves out a lot of details, notably: The fuel tanks where filled above the maximum allowable amount. The fuel tanks ruptured above the wing, not where the tire fragments hit. The fuel tank

This is just a low end/uncommon hardware problem. I typically do make -j16 on a 4 core x86 system and it just works. You are probably running out of ram and the swapping resulting in that instability.

Presumably if one owned many homes and rented them out they might benefit from increased renting demand. Though the resale value of the house might also go down with less people buying so Idk if it balances out. My perception from London is

My first suggestion would to see if the lag corresponds to a full GC. Google can tell you the proper incantation to log GC events. If it is caused by a full GC you probably have some kind pathological behavior causing it . Allocating more R

I do this. I watch Netflix and play video games at the same time. So I guess my point is this is a use case which exists. My GPU handles it just fine though.

I sometimes was one of the students who didn't do the reading. Almost always one or more of the following was true: 1. The reading wasn't immediately relevant to getting a decent grade in the class. 2. The class was obscenely bori
