It's interesting that fixing this delay will involve setting the grid's frequency above 50 to 50.01 Hz which will advance clocks about 15 seconds a day and thus it will take 3 to 4 weeks to bring the clocks back on time. And they

It's very easy to avoid any problems when working in a cafe. Upon entering simply ask if it is okay to order a drink or two and work on your laptop. If they say no just try another place. And it depends a lot on culture / country

My place is in the middle of nowhere, there is nothing detailed to show in the circle, so although the circle is the fanciest feature of the poster it would still be nice if there was a way to disable the circle. That would make it useful t

I don't wear glasses but I can recommend this store https://www.aliexpress.com/store/201163 Have ordered a few pairs for family and they are all happy with them. I didn't tell them how cheap they were though.

Sure. The kindle runs linux and has a large e-ink display and battery integrated for a good price. You can do many things that you cannot do on a micro controller. For low level stuff you can hook up an esp8266 through wifi.

Great idea although too pricey for what you get IMHO. I'll stick to hacking Kindles for now.

This sounds like a really fun thing to play with and could be useful for extending covered range where bandwidth requirements are low. Where I usually struggle is making it all small and robust enough. Does anyone know of any products which

I like running stock Android and was considering buying Google Pixel 2 but it does not have a dual sim option which is a deal-breaker for me. I ended up buying Xiaomi mi A1 which runs stock android. I love it. There is one downside - the re

Does anyone know any similar free/open products for archiving documents, tracking etc.? What I am after is a system like expensive solutions have in some companies where the mailbox department prints (or has preprinted) labels with uni

One disadvantage of gold I can think of is you cannot hide it in your head.

The situation seems very worrying. How can people from the outside help? What is the situation with internet access over there? Are there any bloggers or reporters who report frequently on the situation and struggles frequently?

I love the Sansa Clips. Does Rockbox still produce noise when not playing music in the headphones?

Pipistrel from Slovenia had a similar problem. IIRC they had to ship parts to USA/Australia and assemble them over there. Now they moved part of production to Italy and this seems to have circumvented some of these problems.
