It's considerably heavier than older Tomato versions, so if you have a 10-year-old router that's already running fine on an older Tomato variant I don't recommend it.

Most of the music on WCD originated from physical media which still exists in the world. I would say mp3.com being wiped was much more significant in terms of truly lost music.

This was my experience as well. I had a deep link to AltaVista's "advanced" search page which loaded plenty fast. Between AV and InfoSeek (which I used the Netscape plugin to get a browser search bar for) I was seeing better
