Is that a bad thing? I don't use Emacs, but see the value of having this functionality in a pre-packaged, well thought out UI.

That's not available on basically every system. What advantages does zx have over Python, Ruby or even Fish for example, if we're installing extra programming languages?

What would the alternative be, as you can't just edit someone else's repo? Besides just cloning it and making the change locally, of course.

Not quite what you meant, but close enough for a mention: The Playdate. It's a platform specifically made for games (as opposed to a Raspberry Pi for example), has a library of great games and is ostensibly easy to develop for.

Just like on a real string instrument! I was wondering if they implemented this, and they have! Colour me impressed!

This is the rational thing to do, yes. I'm not sure I would've thought of getting that notarised myself.

I have never had an issue with the new Settings app. Could you go into why you think it's so terrible?

This is exactly my experience and I'm loving it. The key here is that it's a source, the things it produces still need to be checked.

Between this and Catpuccin, is there an index of popular and widely supported themes?

Oh that one's a lot more to my taste than Dracula is! I'm partial to the muted tones of JetBrain's dark mode colours. I'd love it if there was a theme like that with such an active developer (community)!

Completely agree! I'm actually baffled why Dracula seems to be the only color scheme that is available for so many places. I'm a big fan of JetBrains' Darcula color scheme myself. Imagine my frustration when searching for tha

I just love how in Japan they went from “笑う” (warau, to laugh) to “笑” (wara) to “w” to “www” to “草” (kuchi, grass, because “www” kinda looks like grass) to “大草原” (daisougen, great plain/prairie/steppe). That feels like such an int

While I absolutely love his videos, with this one he lost me. It’s very technical, doesn’t serve a bigger purpose apart from maybe “look at how much you can do with so little” (it’s literally just about the pinball machine), and it’s very

Of all the functions a title could have, I feel this is not one of them. That would result in intentionally misleading titles.

What a great tool! Got me inspired to play with CSS animations for a bit. I would suggest adding some animation timing functions to the animation presets. Without them, they look a little stale.

You don't have to use them. I don't see what these kinds of comments add. You see them in every discussion on a font that has them.

I disagree. Programming allows for so much freedom and flexibility in how you approach problems. I find that a large portion of the job is following your gut feeling and putting it into words.

I just inherited a code base written by somebody in that exact same situation. Saving a single file associated with a model in 27 steps instead of about 4.
