With Android you can also get much better privacy by trumping most of the Google services, using Firefox with Ublock Origin and a system such as Blokada for system level adblocker. With Android if you know what you are doing, you can stop a

In Berlin tobacco and weed smoke is everywhere. I don't really see how legalizing weed would make it any worse. People already smoke it in bars and on the streets and Germany loves their cigarettes too...

You can do the same with btrfs too. I think SuSE already integrates this, and I used to do that with Arch Linux before I started using NixOS.

I'll add here my favorite book of his, the Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72, him getting sucked into politics and following the Democratic party campaign against Nixon, that lead to a landslide victory for Republicans.

Also there is nothing comparable to AndroidAPS available in the market that allows you to keep crazy good balance. The price is the learning curve, but the documentation is good.

I have two pairs of Beyerdynamic studio headphones. The other pair is now 16 years old, still sound great and are in daily use. I've replaced the cable once, it was easy and cables are common to find. This is what I call value.

I've been using another similar system called AndroidAPS for three years now. With Dexcom G6 and DanaRS pump it means I never need to measure my glucose from my fingertips, be afraid of hypos and wake up every morning with a 5.5 mmol&#

We also use Notion in my company. The editor is horrendous. It's absolutely crazy how bad it is for my use of writing documentation. I'm also biased, I do love emacs with evil and markdown modes, and I use neovim as my main editor

I've been using Wayland and Sway with FreeBSD 13 quite successfully. Everything worked quite well, except some indicators in Waybar that were using some Linux specific things to get values for memory usage etc...

I have Synapse and quite quite many bridges running and especially syncing a newbdevice takes a long time. Hope I could go with Conduit at some point.

It is possible. I've been running my own for a year, but it takes quite a hefty server at least with Synapse, and it's not cheaper compared to the quite nice 5 euros a month pricing here. If you want to give it a try, this is what

I have plenty of ThinkPads and agree with almost everything. The WiFi is a problem though, because Lenovo whitelists only certain cards in the BIOS and will not boot if you upgrade the card. There are tools to disable this but YMMV.
