NVIDIA has a robotics department where I could see this tech fitting pretty nicely. Also I consider this a dev board. Soon this tech will be everywhere, in our phones, computers... You could already plug that to your home assistant and have

Not really, no. For manufacturers it is faster to just write the drivers once for their chip, and release them targeting to an exact Linux kernel version rather than actually writing good enough code that it goes through the LKML process an

And it's much better now than it used to be. Of course the amount of people in these forums is much smaller, but all of them are very much music nerds. So you get very good tips for what to listen from them.

I find it easier to stream music from my phone, especially with a slow uplink and the real time encoding to a lossy format with the servers.

Same with Helsinki and Turku archipelago. We've been spending the whole Christmas in my parent's cabins near Helsinki in a small island. It was a bit tricky to come here with a small boat due to the ice, but when we got here, we j

Thanks for a tip to try out Symfonium. Seems to work great with Plex and Navidrome. I have a few issues with Plex for music, especially when it wants to convert DSF files into flac, which is fine but unnecessary. Plexamp on Android also som

Yep. Same with Plex. I used to run it with 1.2 GHz dual core Intel Atom. I always encode to 128 kbps Opus when I stream my music and I'm not on Wi-Fi. It took about 300-500ms until the music started when I pressed play. The CPU usage w

How these ESP32-systems work is that you send a wake word to the device itself. It can detect the word without an internet connection, the device itself understands it and wakes up. After the device is woken up, it sends your speech to home

Our roster does test roast, good quality beans used to test the process. Light, tasty, and cheap. I do not need to get further from that. The only expensive thing you need is a good grinder. Rest goes with a 26€ V60 and a kitchen scale.
