Ah yes, that is a bug where the layout engine can't fit it correctly and gets stuck in a loop. It maxes out rather than overflows, but the same effect. It's being worked on, and sorry for the inconvenience.

That's very kind -- let's hope the legal profession feels the same way. It's certainly inspired by VS code. It's using egui ( https://github.com/emilk/egui ) under the hood. Big hats off to Emil Erne

Apologies for that. I thing the pipe is getting hugged a bit here. Unfortunately it's a bit lean so no GCP outages to blame it on!

Yes! From scratch. It started with a docx library but had to be re-implemented from the beginning because that library dropped data that wasn't implemented. Tritium's docx implementation is more permissive such that it can gracefu

It probably wouldn't make sense to show lawyers what we do, either, but there's a kernel of truth there: the product needs some development on the onboarding.

Agreed! I don't think lawyers would have accepted an Electron alternative to super fast Word. Rust gives the raw speed and safety necessary to compete. It's my first Rust project, and I've found Rust to be amazing once you cr

Somebody tell the Danish legal team that Tritium ( https://tritium.legal ) runs on Linux :). I said it on the prior thread, and I think it's worth reiterating: Politics aside, Microsoft has such a strangle hold on so many ind

Assuming this can write emails and access the internet, I would suggest also backing up all relationship states and account balances periodically as well.

The small dopamine hits you get from "it compiles" are completely automated away, and you're forced to survive on the goal alone. The issues are necessarily complex and require thinking about how the LLM has gotten it subtly

If you want it digitized, yes, odd as that seems. You can go find individual prints of it or perhaps digital copies of opinions elsewhere, but those are also technically copyrighted in a lot of cases too.

It's a great question and primarily for the snappiness, but in the end there isn't much difference since the heavy stuff (shaping, layout, rasterizing, etc.) is cached anyway. It's inspired by Zed which also has an obsessive

Not at all. It's Rust using egui for the UI framework with custom text layout and shaping. It uses PDFium for rendering PDFs.
