Thanks for the review - saved me from even going to their website. I have the attention span of a 12 year old without their Ritalin for all these "YC app du jour" sites these days.

It doesn't mess your hair up - a key issue for women riding fairly upright bicycles (where the risk of head injury during a crash is negligible anyway). I want more people on bikes on the road - makes it safer for me. If they want to ride w

I would expect that it would check the backup on a regular basis and either repair the issue or warn me that I needed to do something drastic. Just failing to restore is unacceptable.

If you believe what you read, it takes ~10000 hours to master an activity. Most people give up long before then. So people almost never achieve their real potential which is really what Phelps and the blog are really about. That Phelps used

You finance and billing guys will never understand. These are rockstars . They work for facebook. They would never ever type UPDATE users SET email = username || '@facebook.com'; WHERE username == 'john.smith';

We just had 100s of EC2 instances generate high (alleged) load. Instances had load averages of 90+ but were responsive. Running on a 3.2 kernel Rebooted them all and they're fine.

That's just the general design philosophy of the MP components of the LAMP stack. Do the stupidest thing that could possibly work; and it probably will. For now.

I don't "really mind" if it breaks totally (i.e. throws an appropriate exception or doesn't parse the syntax check). I find it much more irritating when the behaviour subtly changes and introduces edge cases that may not be picked up in tes

I have an entry level Linode with backup service. 3 weeks ago, backups stopped for no obvious reason, I noticed after a few days and raised a ticket. It was escalated to the "backup team"; who've proceeded to achieve nothing in almost 2 wee

I much prefer gender neutral language to using "she" or "he". Unless of course we are talking about a specific example like "John foolishly unscrewed the cap on his radiator while the engine was running". In which case I would generally try

Are these credentials all that are needed to impersonate your authenticator? This seems "bad" - as I'd personally expect there to be no "magic" data migration path between different apps. There should be a confirmation step from the securit

I suspect the fees aren't always about cost, but rather a subtle encouragement to customers to do certain activities. I had a bike bag weighing 27kg and a second piece weighing 15kg. Well under the 46kg I could take on for no charge. The ai
