There's no reason to think a free market economy is the single best solution we could ever hope to stumble upon. We keep evolving, we will evolve out of the "free" market economy as well.

Allende tried something similar in Chile with project Cybersyn. Not AI yet but it shows how the economy could be centrally planned using technology. Shame that Pinochet's coup ended the experiment.

Well if nobody wants to work for you it means you are way off with the wages you offer. That's the market. You got to raise the wages, not complain that people are finally able to reject your wage slavery.

Have you ever thought that the problem could be with your wages, rather than with the UBI?

I don't get the downvotes. Thats exactly how it goes, how the US in the past retained the "first global power" trophy it now lost.

Based on how the US behaves generally, just sanction them to hell. You don't want to apply the global tax rate? Have fun finding liquidity when every financial institution denies you access. It worked in reducing socialist countries to

Never said so. Even tho, if big corps paid their fair share in taxes, instead of using foreign tax havens, it would be way easier to find the resources for a UBI.

Just a minimum living wage for everyone, so that people don't have to invent for themselves a failed career in entertainment, in order to escape unemployment/wage slavery.
