>It exists on all of my machines What machines, did you assemble the hardware yourself? On a reasonably modern android phone, firefox is fluent even with dozens of tabs and there's nothing you can do to make it slow.

It's worse. You can't just start Mitm'ing regular encrypted internet traffic without compromised infrastructure. With Cloudflare everything is already in place.

Yes we know all that. What I want is a demonstration of live decryption of telemetry data traffic.

My claim is it's not standard TLS or there's an additional layer (external encryption key) because an actual decryption of telemetry traffic has never been demonstrated.

Point taken, but the comparison is not fairly made. Word 97 is not shown in page layout mode, where you would have a lot of additional whitespace to show the margins.

It will pass now. It's a concerted effort as the same laws are passing in the EU as well.

A separate 'financial' firefox profile would be more convenient and more secure.

thanks, existing traffic is symmetrically encrypted already and can no longer be decrypted by the intercepting party. But future traffic could be. For instance, I found this : https://www.princeton.edu/~pmittal/publicat

By having an already trusted CA cert on the client. But that would involve a really elaborate attack by an APT (having for instance a stolen CA that's still valid).

Ok, I've got a stupid question that's been in the back of my head for years, so I'm just gonna ask. In a BGP hijacking attack, can traffic be decrypted by somehow linking it to a new (root) CA the attacker owns?
