Slightly OT, but is it really that difficult to tell the difference between Windows Server 2008R2 and Windows 7? The linked page doesn't seem to be able to tell the difference between the two.

I hate it when this happens, especially because I read most of my email on my phone and I can't be bothered to go through all that. So I just mark as spam.

The offer of bail money is a bit pointless if the judge hasn't granted bail. I know he's appealing at the moment (I can hear the protesters from my office) but it will be interesting to see if MM puts his money where is mouth is.

Not the most helpful answer in the world, but I've generally found Amazon to be cheaper than iTunes, so I don't think that this is really anything new.

This seems to be a very popular thing at the moment. I know of another developer who is currently running something very similar in private beta.

Simple. Not come up with the right idea yet. Whenever I do come up with something, I either find that someone has done something too similar, or I talk myself out of it.

Are you talking about the actual SMTP server part, or how they would pass on those messages to the SMTP servers?

Try rackspacecloud servers ( http://www.rackspacecloud.com ) - uses pretty much the same backend as slicehost (slicehost owned by rackspace). I find them cheaper as it's not a fixed cost, but pay as you go.

On another note, I noticed (through my awesome skills of deduction) that you're using heroku. How are you finding that? Is it easy to use?

The problem with this is that (AFAIK) there are no 100Mbps wifi routers around over here in the UK, so unless you want trailing cables or to have cables fitted professionally you're still only going to get approx 54 Mbps

They've only blocked the secure site for that domain name. Might be because the SSL certificate is still for www.getdropbox.com
