So far I have done Go, little Rust, python, some docker stuff, etc. Its awesome. I have 8gb M1 air and its seriously faster than my 16gb MBP with an intel i7.

Firefox by far. Besides being a browser that doesn't spy on you, it is light on resources, fast, and has tab sending to all my devices.

Company uses it to sync client jiras to our internal jira so PMs and the like don't need multiple logins. I personally do not use either. The less tech and notifications in my life the better.

I have a dedicated office I have a really solid desk setup - tray, mac, ultrawide, nice speakers. Ergonomics are important too.

I agree with this, assuming you account for unconscious bias. With all the tools for blind hiring, it isn't really a problem. We hire for the best engineering competency, period. Our team is incredibly diverse in all sense of the word,

Not in docker. The entire point of docker is isolation so when you use something like python3.7-slim, its fine to use the system python. Thats the whole point of using the image. Now you still want to run and install pip packages as a non-r
