Smoke, sparks and heat. Stopped providing power while on battery. If it had been left on battery, it would probably have caught fire.

Lower variability isn't a very good indicator of good weather at all. Humidity, median vs. average yearly temp, annual sunshine, and precipitation are more useful IMHO.

I'm totally buying this. It's 2022, I am pretty sure Realtek knows how to make a reliable gigabitEthernet chip, and at the same time it's also possible that OEMs cut corners in power design.

I have one of those Anker x-in-one hubs and it works well, minus the Ethernet which it capped at 300Mbps due to [checks notes] a USB 2.0 interconnection. Why?!? I ended up getting a separate sub $20 USB-C to Ethernet adapter from a random A

The anti-stalker virtue signaling from Apple basically kills any chances of finding stolen belongings. AirTags only work for finding misplaced stuff, not stolen stuff because they will alert the thieves before you get a chance of recovery.

Same conundrum... I mostly used Workspace for email functions, never for the actual accounts since they are much more limited than vanilla "consumer" Google Accounts[1]. So I don't really have contents, just a bunch of lists
