There’s the code llama model that you can run locally I think which should be able to help you with that: https://ai.meta.com/blog/code-llama-large-language-model-cod...

Have you seen what people say about Zuckerberg on social media?

That’s a separate discussion, and one worth having, but the juxtaposition between the dramatic title and what actually happened is ridiculous

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted. This is literally the core complaint in the article.

It’s very common in big tech, but it obviously doesn’t work like the guy on Reddit is describing.

I’ve tried this but did not find it worthwhile in practice. Either you end up running multiple versions of the same library, which sucks terribly unless your library doesn’t have side effects, or you end up doing a huge versioning dance at

You say that like it’s a fact but Facebook has a humongous monolith and it works fine with tens of thousands of engineers working on it at the same time

I got an Apple Watch for this reason when they first came out and found out that people constantly thought I was bored or had to leave because I kept glancing at my watch. Looking at the phone never got a negative response.

The guy asked > Twenty years later, I still can't fathom why we're spending so much money on Splunk, DataDog a the like. And the poster above answered that question

At one point it was, but since then it’s become it’s own language with a completely new (JIT-based) implementation

Why wouldn’t they? Meta does, and they write openly about it

Not even, I believe objects in python are just maps with some syntax sugar. I’m not sure what this is buying over a static class aside from being slower and more awkward to use?

Each entity. Person would be a table, you and I would be rows, correct.

Why not? I don't think there are many graph databases that are set up to handle multiple petabytes of data, so RDBMs make a good storage layer at that scale

Represent every entity (like “person” or “post”) in a large graph using a relational database. You can get to 40k rather quickly

They very much didn’t want to ban it, they ALSO wanted to get paid for the social media links too. It just backfired on them.

The law hasn’t come into effect yet, meta was early with its implementation. Google said they would do the same thing once the law applies.

Based on what exactly? The linked article prohibits activities, not entities. Unless the CCP doesn’t use it for spying and military uses and the DoD wants to, this makes no sense.
