Agreed. Or have some meaningful overlap. To me, whenever a company switches to a different logo after years of stagnant progress, it signals a last effort to artificially strengthen the brand.

The article hints at a trend which isn't really happening: Apple's patents are hindering innovation in the Android space. My terrible experience with Android stems from the lack of coordination between software and hardware.

A lot of this has to do with the fact that app discovery on the iOS platform is broken. Granted it's a lot better than Google Play (or whatever that market is called now), but it's still skewed. Small indie developers without huge marketing

I actually don't like the rewind interface. It is an innovative way to use circular gestures, but it was frustrating to use. I'd rather have a circular context menu. I do like the moleskin feel to it and the graphics. Good work!
