Which is a more pressing matter, the great oceanic garbage gyres or the orbital gyres. How do we fix these? Garbage and space taxes? We need a garbage x prize for cleanup ideas for both.

I am sure that technically it is not a security issue. But when a large scale system is interleaving peoples data and the "don't worry move along" tagline from the BigCo is "This is not a security issue" to downplay the incident is used -

I love how showing other peoples timelines, retweets and who-knows-what is not a security issue. These aren't the bugs you're looking for. Move Along.

Cool, you're just looking out for this potential interns interest right? So, just in the interest of full disclosure - what have you shipped/built/released if, by your own words, this is such a big deal? Just curious if you're some hyper pr

Agreed, and you're right - maybe the tone should be more properly metered. With that said, it is important to note that it is apparently difficult to get a clear idea of the truth.

Is it better to have started double digit startups than to have not started anything? Your snide comment seems to go totally against the idea that we should fail quickly and often. Out of curiosity, not knowing anything of the subject of yo

Reddit should try this to get some extra funding for another developer. Nice to see that ballsy phishing/social engineering tactics are still in play. I am reminded of the famous deposit slip scam... http://www.snopes.com/business/bank/dep

It would seem that to trust no-one but be cautious of all reports is the correct stance. We know there IS radiation and we know that pretty much ANY radiation coming from any plant that has the words "disaster" "chernobyl" "meltdown" "bre

Correct - and I am not making claims either way, though I guess I could be more clear -- the fact is that the radiation is too high to recover - either the bodies themselves are too dangerous, or the surrounding environment is too dangerous

Fair enough, I am not trying to fear monger though, I think multiple reactor meltdowns, lack of clear information and continuous reports of radiation levels XXX times [some factor] are doing a good enough job. Now, even though my Grandfathe

One thing that would be interesting for this app would be to setup so that it would send you an email/sms whenever it saw a face it did not recognize, along with the pic. I'd love to see this as part of a home security system in which it wi
