As a general comment, if you'd like to know more about what's happening and has happened to the Great Barrier Reef over the last few hundred years, I can highly recommend Iain McCalman's[1] book "The Reef: A Passionate H

Adrian Selby's book Brother Red[1] contains a race of people, the Oskoro and Ososi, who appear to undertake trepanning and then plant things in their heads. At least that's how I imagined it! [1] https://www.adrianselby

Lack of hyphen use drives me nuts. "Cooperation" is a prime example. Without the hyphen, my internal monologue pronounces the word like "chicken coop"[1]. Whereas, "Co-Operation" makes pronunciation much cleare

It's definitely not a complete listing, but possibly the best I know in terms of compiling many locations into one site. For example, Greenham Common is not listed[1], and I guess it's up to the users to submit it! [1] https:

I see now from up thread, this is 2.6 million individual titles, not actual book sales. To me, this still seems low. Unfortunately, the bookstat website linked in the article won't load for me, but I wonder if that is only the total nu

This comment jogged my memory about reading something about a NASA funded experiment in the 1960s to communicate with dolphins. Essentially a woman, Margaret Lovett, literally lived in a watery house with three dolphins for several months.

I'd like to make a book recommendation. The Outlaw Ocean by Ian Urbina. When I read this 12 months ago, I felt it was one of the most powerful accounts of the pillages still occurring in the world's oceans, as well as the horrific
