For cycling tech, if you're outside the US, check out Chinese manufacturers like iGPSport and Magene. Picked up a spider-based power meter for around £290 and a big computer for £150. Both are great, and work just as well as their west

But doesn't the Apple M series NPU support FP8, and as it's a monolithic die (except for the GPU in the M5 Pro and Max) it could be argued it has hardware FP8 support, no?

Meanwhile lots of people in the PC building community have cases with glass panels on the side, and go to a lot of effort to make the inside look a certain way. This includes things like custom sleeved cables, perfect cable management, RGB

I find Chrome to be the biggest culprit for battery life on my M2 MacBook Pro. Which is fine, I use Firefox usually, but any time I open Chrome it just seems to drain the battery super fast.

Took one for a test drive - it was fun. The only downside is compared to some other compact/city EV's the legroom in the back is REALLY bad (and I'm not exactly tall). The legroom in my son's VW e-Up! is markedly better,

If you're doing large batch inserts, I've found using the COPY INTO the fastest way, especially if you use the binary data format so there's no overhead on the postgres server side.

Not just for coding. I've been working on design docs, and find ChatGPT 5.2 finds more edge cases and suggests better ideas than Gemini 3. I sometimes feed the output of one into the other and go "ok, another AI says this, what do

My claim is the documentation about the ICO investigation and the resulting fine. It's an entirely different piece of regulation to the "horror" of the OSA. It's not hard - you're not allowed to target adverts for c

Seeing as the investigation was by the ICO instead of OFCOM, yes, very much so. Do you have any evidence to the contrary?

Yes - that's for Sky Sports. You can often get a deal if you threaten to cancel, go through with it, and then wait for a retentions offer, but since Sky was acquired by Comcast that's happening less and less, especially for the su

That's why it took off with hobbyists - $79 for an IP KVM is insanely good value. I picked up two which have been in my rack for a few months at this point and I've got nothing but praise for them. Sipeed nano also launched around

It's not blocked in the UK, nor is it because of the OSA. They decided to withdraw from the UK market as the ICO (not OFCOM, who handle OSA) fined them for mishandling the PII of children, not under the OSA, but under UK’s Children’s C

That's fair, but also, a plurality of households have off-street parking, so the amount we need to solve for is already lower. We DO need to solve for it though, because it's ridiculously cheap to drive an EV in the UK if you can
