When you include the £37bn for test and trace, and £££ for vaccine rollout, yes, but that's somewhat disingenuous (and one could argue done by the Government to hoodwink). The other oft-trotted lie is that the NHS is "awash with m

Sorry, didn't see this until now. Yes, you use the Yubico Authenticator app, but it's entirely local only (runs fine with all networking switched off). It's available for Mac, Linux and Windows, as well as Android and iOS. On

Wow - US insurance and used car prices are crazy. For comparison, back in December 2020 I bought a 2-year old Ford Focus with 13,000 miles on the clock for £11,500, my insurance is £25 a month, but my fuel is closer to £160 a month, for aro

You don't. Have a look at Yubikey's - there, the seed is stored on the key itself, the calculation done on the key itself, and all the app does is read it all via NFC.

When I first started working in this area I was surprised to not see an increase around holidays - the numbers stay mostly flat throughout the year. Time of day, however, has a larger correlation (early hours of the morning).

Working in totally different tech stacks should be spun as a superpower. You're a polyglot, not wed to one technology, but can quickly and easily get up-to-speed on the best tool for the job!

Open up safe legal routes then, the lack of which is the main reason why the boat smugglers even have a business. But doing so would get asylum seekers out of the collective conciousness, which has been politically advantageous to the incum

Which is why it's good when there's a big outage and you need a ton of engineers in a call to debug it - Zoom is the only one I've seen that doesn't fall over.

How odd, I've got a 980 Pro 2TB that I've had since mid last year, and checking I'm already on that firmware version.

Good a time as any to mention powered computer dusters. Got one a few years ago and it's already paid for itself many times over.

Came here to say the same thing. So many pre-made kits using it, and plenty of people who DIY a sim racing cockpit with it. SimRacingGarage has reviewed some 6DOF rigs which use 8020 at their core.

I'm wondering how much of the critique in the article is down to the Arri Alexa look - it's pretty distinctive, so much so that I can usually pick out if a show or film was shot in it (latest example was watching "Dark"
