It's not a C# thing, it's a floating-point thing. Two numbers which mathematically "should" be equal, might not be due to rounding errors. (In python, 0.15 + 0.15 != 0.1 + 0.2.) So it's risky to compare them with ==

I don't think it makes sense to call something a bonus unless it's also a goal. I never said all goals were equal, so asking which is the main goal is irrelevant; my point is just that both goals exist as goals.

Then the proper comparison is between Sweden and a state, not Sweden and the US as a whole. But I think the federal government exerts more control over US states than anyone exerts over Sweden. (Maybe the EU? I'm certainly no expert.)
