I should have made it clearer that this shouldn't be allowed to individuals not meeting deadlines. That would not make sense. But actually, one of our best employee actually enjoy a little bikeshedding here and there. I blame his young age

Honestly I think they are the same in term of impact in the spirit and fun they bring to the workplace. The "n/a" versus "ø" discussion will be settled by me sticking to use "n/a" as it's most commonly understood. No need to A/B test it imh

By the amount of emails sent and the similarity of emails, one could guess that they were indeed automated. Honestly I don't really have a big problem with the tactic as both parties were winning, but I am not buying the 'rogue' sales team

no knocking Linode, I know it's good. But it's hard to see re-deployment as anything else that lost cycles at the point we're at. I hope we won't need 30 hours to be up and running on AWS though.
