Probably it's easier to just ban all watermarks than police the use of watermarks.

Yes! I particularly liked: "So you worked on the first ever computer in the U.S.?" "Yes." "And how did you know so much about computers back then?" "I didn't. It was the first one."

I'm not sure most doctors are properly equipped to deal with this kind of thing, beyond referring you on to a specialist which is only going to make you worry even more . My Dad taught me about not panicking when I was a child as he t

A great explanation that also made me laugh. I've never really thought of the browser vendors trying to impersonate each other before; sort of, "competing" for content. I always thought they just did what they liked and we al

I've heard this before about exercise. But exercise really tires my brain out - it feels like I can't think at all, like all my effort has gone and I'm just lathargic. I'm not saying exercise is bad, and I do try and kee

Under-18s can still enter licensed premises. At least here in the UK they can. And they often do, if my local that is more "5-year-old's playground" than "pub" is representative.

Anyone know a good place to plot the mathematical envolope at the bottom of the page? But like, quite big? I know it might seem a little facile but a nice plot like that would look pretty cool on my website. :)

I would agree with this except for the, "you don't have to worry about it." If it scales by a huge amount over a weekend when you get some exposure, for example, then the costs can surely increase very quickly? I think I woul

For me, as a perpetual employee that would love to run his own business one day (and is working towards that), this is quite an insight, but I'll bet it's hard to do it another way: ------------------------------------------------

Reading all the advice that is being given in comments around this thread, it would seem the best advice would be: get someone who knows what they're talking about in the local area and get their advice; like the parent poster SAR but

One thing my Dad always told me about software estimates: "Take the estimate, double it, and increase the time unit by one. So if they tell you it's a couple of days effort, that's really four weeks..."
