We have Teams and Slack and I don’t ever see anyone push for a chat in teams. Most channels are a ghost town. To me, teams would be “fine” if it’s all we had, but when you see it next to Slack it’s a no-brainer for me. Teams UI is just baaa

I’ve never been so constantly annoyed and confused in an email client than I am in Outlook. I miss actual important emails because the UI is a sea of junk.

When I did my orientation, we got set up on teams and they made a group chat for our cohort. I think I’ve used it…once in the two years I’ve been there? Otherwise, Teams is for meetings, thankfully the company managed to stick with Slack de

I first came across Erowid in college when my friends were getting me into psychedelics. It’s an incredibly informative site, and as a kid who read the warning labels on _everything_, it really helped me feel comfortable.

The concept of not cutting the power before rewiring seems hogwild to me. I touched a 120v line I thought I had turned off and am really grateful my ass fell backwards because no one else was home

It feels easier to me: buy second hand, look for natural fibers, take care of your garments (wash according to tag, don’t use fabric softeners or dryer sheets). Learning to mend isn’t too bad either, especially with fabrics that are sturdie

But DEI isn’t and wasn’t ever that. I did DEI training at two different jobs and it boiled down to “you can’t know what someone else may be going through, or where they’ve been, and no the best course of action is to be open and curious”. H

I watched my partner adjust the volume on her android phone (some Motorola phone) and first there was the vertical slider, she tapped it, and it expanded to idk 5-6 different volume sliders? I appreciate having the option, and I feel like t

I’ve never felt compelled to use a KVM, probably because my use cases just don’t call for it. I have a monitor stand that has a bunch of USB-A/C ports, and HDMI port, and can run power in via USB-C. I have my keyboard, mouse, and one m

I had a hard time with complex regex until I started using them more in vim - the ability to see what your regex matches as you work is really helpful. Of course, this is even better now with sites like regexr and regex101

Seems like a trend because you happen to focus on the gender being “interesting” - in reality we’ve always had fraud in tech and men have certainly led a ton of it. I guess my point is: why is gender at all relevant here?
