I have no idea if remdesivir works or not, but that is the problem with drugs in a shortage scenario like we're currently seeing. If there aren't enough of them, you're going to save them for the most critical patients. But t

I agree that kids might have a hard time deciding what they want to learn, but it sounds like this approach is less "learn whatever is interesting to you" and more "let's pick some topics together and go from there."

This is great. I think it'll fit better with the way I want to control my impulse browsing than others I've tried (StayFocused and manually editing /etc/hosts are the other mains ways I've tried). Thank you!

They are implying that the outcome for the girl hitchhiking around Mexico could have been worse had one of the criminals or other bad actors been the one to pick her up. I believe the purpose of the story here is to warn against survivorshi

My graduate program (computer-y, not MBA) has seen a huge drop in international applications. That was the large majority of our graduate program, and after 2016 those applications have dropped about 75%.

I'd love to know how you're running Django and React together. I've been trying to figure out how to make that combo work in a mono-repo, and I'm definitely missing something. Any advice?

No cheat detection code is perfect. Banning cheaters encourages the creation of new cheats (or just new accounts, since it doesn't cost anything to start playing Apex). Allowing cheaters to continue playing is a win for two reasons: 1.

Some people's "hobby" is couponing. I doubt they consider the act of digging through papers to find and cut out coupons to be fun, but the act as a whole is. But I guess if you define a hobby strictly as something you do not

I'm currently paying MTurkers $2 for a study that takes 10-15 minutes. That works out to $8-$12 per hour. I would never be able to recruit people to participate locally for just $2, but I can on MTurk because mine is one of many tasks
