I also found that off-putting. I almost set up a mailinator email, but when the friction gets that high I usually bail instead.

Docs mention that the uppercase keyword feature is inspired by Modula 2. However, I expect that most editors can highlight keywords so I don't see how this is a problem. If it is a problem it seems like there is a simpler solution.

Honestly, this https://svelte.dev/faq#how-do-i-test-svelte-apps made the decision to choose Vue over Svelte pretty easy for me.

"Our founding engineers had learned from their experience working at Google and Facebook that to ensure a performant and stable application, they would need to build their own framework" Wow. Interesting.

We were recently looking at https://ant.design/ which is one of the most popular React component frameworks. The components are nice and the design is appealing, but the 1.2 MB size is off-putting ( https://bundle

There are several things I look for in a "code" font: distinct 0 vs O, distinct l vs 1, readability, etc. I don't think I'd use this for code, but I might for UI. Edit: it seems that the variations are more code-oriented

Definitely more diverse than it used to be, but not like other large cities; Hispanic and Pacific Islanders are the two fastest-growing non-white groups, iirc.

Doesn't this just change things from state level to federal? You still are a US citizen and you still have input in the government. This seems like the same situation as when someone goes through multiple states?

I can think of a few scenarios off of the top of my head: App sends an event, Lambda sorts it into queue(s) for processing App wants to know if its data is stale, asks Lambda I think there is a niche for small, quick processing. Why write i
