I'll vouch that EGreg isn't part of Holochain. I'm not either but it's one of the projects that I find most interesting in the distributed/decentralized computing space.

When you control the webview, you can establish fairly strong limits on where content and code can come from, same as with CSPs. Injection into the context really shouldn't be possible. You'd need to hit some kind of exploit such

I'm a personal friend of John's, so I'll just +1 this project. It's a pretty solid and simple invoicing tool. Quick form to produce the invoice from a template, sends the email with a pdf version attached, and then gives

Rik Arends has been working on a cross-platform IDE in Rust called Makepad [1]. It has a custom UI stack that targets wasm/webGL, osx/metal, windows/dx11, and linux/opengl. His premise (which is fairly ambitious) is to w

This debate centers around whether Facebook is a publisher or a carrier (like a phone service). There are some ways that Facebook inserts itself much more directly than a carrier would: 1) They control the feed algorithms. 2) They set polic

You're getting questions about target market, and I'm pretty sure the answer is web development agencies, right? Any shop with a high volume of projects will need a development pipeline, stack, and ops story that is straight forwa

I'd wager it was the "Browse Faster" ad - which coming from Google is a tempting click. Just a small aside on the grandparents topic: my grandfather lost every dime to email scams in the late 90s. The man was a Westpoint grad
