Yes, absolutely - this is another big part of it. I love my work, so I'm not just sitting around waiting to go home all day.

Personally: I'm an introvert. That's not to say I never want to talk to people, but I can go an average work day interacting with a few folks via email and call it a good day. When I'm being social, I can't get work done

I'm personally of the opinion that many languages is a good thing. I don't like monocultures much, so on that level, I want dart to succeed. I agree that having a robust dart-first framework (and widget library) is a necessary c

Sure, this sounds pretty clever, but... What's the use case here? Maybe you have some legacy java business library but also need to do something with node? Wouldn't it be smoother / simpler / easier to use services for t

My initial reactions upon hearing this. * wait, is dart still a thing? * this can't be good for angulardart. Basically they're splitting the project into two projects, claiming that both sides will benefit from lots of su

Aha, thanks - so the free hoodie (and they're really nice hoodies!) happened already. The promo page is still pretty neat, though, and a quick perusal of the javascript indicates there may be some more hidden material in there somewher

Does anyone recall a Mr. Robot giveaway with American Giant hoodies? I went to the AG retail space two days ago to figure out what hoodie size I needed, and made a Mr. Robot joke. The salesperson said, "hey, we did a promo with Mr. Rob

There's also this false narrative - the police search TONS of people without finding drugs or anything actionable. They happen to also search people who have drugs. But the only people who go in front of judges are (for the most part)

You can include a tamper-proof expiration time in JWT, but you cannot early-expire or extend that JWT easily (you could always pass back a new, extended one transparently). But in my system, I just keep expiring the redis key for 25 hours f

Yah, the tricky bit is safari access. I'd love to put a bunch of time into using service workers, push notifications, and so on to make an app-like experience for my users (it's a forum / social network thingy for teachers),
