If they have a workforce in China, there are 100% spies working there. Putting it another way, China would be foolish not to have spies working at Zoom, just like it would be foolish to not have spies working at Facebook, Google, Amazon, Mi

Whatever happened to the finding 10+ years ago, where scientists found jellified T-Rex bone marrow? It made a huge splash, and they claimed to be able to see structures in the blood, etc, but I haven't heard anything since, and I can&#

My son is profoundly gifted, although he's not in the same league as some of those children described in the study. I absolutely consider him a special-needs child. He's been kicked out of two schools (including a "gifted&quo

How can a captured planet ever maintain a stable, almost perfectly circular orbit around the Sun, at a plane that almost exactly matches the rest of the planets? It's impossible. The only way this can be explained is if all the planets

I've been playing Hack/Nethack since 1982-ish. My friend got it for his IBM PC, and we were both addicted. The only reason why I kept asking for a computer for my parents was so that I could play Hack. I was the one who figured ou

The worst is the Tesla interface. It's great to look at and if you're sitting in the car parked, but if you're trying to drive it is terrible. To be honest, stuff like this should be legislated away, it's too dangerous.

I thought the PCR tests in Asia had a specificity of around 70% which is why they needed two positive tests in a row (or two negative tests in a row to confirm the patient had recovered).

You probably don't know much about IB then. There's no vetting at all, by IB or any other brokerage, except making sure that the money is in their account. They have margin calls for a reason.

The biggest question is whether or not their systems were able to execute margin calls. If they were down this long, that to me suggests data got corrupt and they've been restoring from backups, etc, which means maybe all their service

The playbook for Equity compensation has changed dramatically in the last 20 years in drastic favor of the founders. During the dotcom days, the number of shares that were given out was very generous. I know secretaries that made enough fro

I got an MRI within a day and CT scan within a day as well. I got an endoscopy within 5 days. My friend waited 4 months for her MRI to diagnose gallbladder stones. The same friend has to wait 2 years for autism therapy for their children. T

I was in the hospital over Christmas because of a very severe infection. I was there for 2 weeks, and am lucky to be alive. The costs were over $150k, but I ended up paying $1500 in various deductibles to Kaiser, etc. I was happy to pay $15

Sorry but using cruise control in heavy rain is just simply a bad idea. It's supposed to be used when conditions are ideal, not when they as bad as can be. That is human error, in my opinion.
