I’d hesitate to draw a causal link without looking at the data and disproving other hypotheses, particularly when it comes to media narratives in 2021. For example, do elderly Asians tend to carry lots of cash, making them attractive target

It probably means changing laws to allow users to hold internet platforms liable for harms caused. All parties can then have their day(s) in court. That seems fair to me.

It’s a restatement of the first and most widely-known principle of the Unitarian Universalist Association [1]. I think that is why it resonates with many people. Those people are then caught off-guard when they use the phrase and find thems

I just think some of the concerns about Trump veer towards the aesthetic. Some people react to him like they react to a bad painting. The rest is just rationalization. For your specific example, polishing graphs and communicating visually s

If it sounds cartoonish, that’s because it is. The manifestation I’ve seen around me is that groups of 3–4 will pretend to befriend unsuspecting victims, inviting them to events and parties etc., then yell at/berate/abuse them at

I see. I’m on a college campus in the United States right now, and I can confirm what he describes exists here exactly as he describes it. There may be a generational or geographical gap between our experiences.

I believe the crimes in question are muggings and an armed robbery in which a gun was pointed at an employee. It is a stretch to call those strictly property crimes.

Not the OP, but I believe the freedom of speech is a concept that exists outside of the Constitution. The OP may be referring to a principle or ideal instead of a constitutional construction.

We could have a futures market for doses. That way the government doesn’t have to pick winners in the drug development arena, something it historically isn’t very good at.

I think it’s fine to speculate, even wildly, while also seeking the truth. Especially if the truth isn’t out. It sounds like you are describing rejecting the truth, which isn’t what I think most people are doing here. Of course facts are
