But people reading a long-form text faster than normal speech should be common and uncontroversial, I think.

It is very clear to me that listening at 3x works after some training. (Not surprising, since almost everyone already reads way faster than normal speech) The proof for this is e.g. blind people. Listen to what their screen readers sound li

Normally you'd open a transaction, run the unit test, then roll back the transaction. That makes each test start at the same, clean state.

Alright. To be fair, I've reached the front page on HN by just compiling a C linear programming solver with Emscripten.

What is the novelty here? E.g. we have https://github.com/pyodide/pyodide and other examples. The cool part here is Emscripten, which has been around for a long time.

I haven't used Facebook in years, but when I did the ads were fantastic. The only platform were the ads seemed like a net positive for me.

It is not clear to me how to play following your strategy. There are things missing. You need to describe what the second move should look like.

Sure that is annoying, but I'm not sure it has anything to do with duck typing?

How do you then explain Facebook's revenue being 86B in 2020?
288.
▲

Why do you say that? The revenue of Facebook is public (86B in 2020). Is a lot of it not from users, or is the figure incorrect, or do they have many more users than they say they have?

Could you possibly be misremembering? I think creating e.g. template<F> F MyComputation(const F& x) would be allowed e.g. for supporting both float and double. It would also be required when using the Ceres optimization library.

"constexpr" does not do what you think it does. For example, "if constexpr(is_constant_evaluated())" is always true, I think. See also the new C++ keyword "consteval" (yes, really!)

How is this puzzle NP-hard? Genuine question, because of the number of pieces is bounded, it's solvable with a shortest path in a graph with a polynomial number of nodes.
