Instead of Draw.io or Figma (or Mermaid or any other option), I sketch around with Excalidraw and create diagrams with Miro. Miro took the world by the storm when corona hit and I am not super fond of the way people use it for everything fr

I don't really care to comment about the practice itself, but the "Polyfills that don’t polyfill" section is missing the point: the function is called directly instead of patching the global object so that the global object i

”They’d rather have” has nothing to do with though. They do it because they can and want to. Obviously those cooking burgers or working in retail would deserve to earn more but if even ”new”, ”revolutionary” companies won’t do it, there’s r

Those who say that this is better than alternative x or y are missing the point. They could pay a premium for any label worker anywhere, whether it was $30 bucks per hour in America or $15 in Kenya, but they won't because the pursuit f

People spent years and years learning how to get the best answers with least possible efforts and search engines evolved with it. Seems pretty insane to me that we have now devolved into asking insanely specific and obtuse questions to rece

I'd say it is, though interacting with other players do make the game better. You can do the main storyline together with friends, but only the party leader can complete the missions - so if playing with group of friends you need to re

I agree on the "should never been released in that state" part, but currently Fallout 76 is by far the best Fallout game Bethesda has made. The newer campaigns are fun and engaging, well written even and there's lots to do. B

As someone who does a lot of slides, mainly on Keynote and sometimes on PowerPoint, Pitch seems to be a similar kind of large, incremental upgrade when we moved from Sketch to Figma. For example something as rudimentary as collaboration jus
