I've been using it for about a year, definitely won't be changing any time soon.

xh is great, just like HTTPie but incredibly fast. I alias it to http so it's memorable and the commands make more sense though.

Yeah but those things increase the chances of bricking. I've been using Android since 2009 and have never had one brick either.

It's designed incredibly well and the aesthetic makes it stand out from just about everyone while still being accessible and usable. The designers and devs must know their stuff to pull it off. Kind of like Les Dawson playing the piano

I agree to an extent but the thought of having an application spread across seven or eight windows makes me feel nauseous.

ITV still don't broadcast anything with 5.1 audio. BBC have done since the launch of BBC HD twelve years ago.

It's actually pretty straightforward, you just need to enable a compose key, then press it followed by punctuation then a letter to insert a special character For example, <compose> ” e = ë https://help.gnome.

Kitty has extensions (kittens) for displaying graphics: https://sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/graphics-protocol/ Not something I use, I tend to just `xdg-open .` to view them in Nautilus/EOG.

Another factor working against them is that we're starting to see bodies that are very comparable to M43 ones. Sony's full frame A7C is 124 x 71 x 60 mm. For comparison a Panasonic GH5 is 138.5 x 98.1 x 87.4 mm and an Olympus'

I think it's a huge pity that we're so reliant on platforms instead of protocols - there would be native Slack clients for every platform. Few companies even allow proper API access. Spotify buck the trend, Spot is a fantastic app

Have you tried coc? Despite the repo name it works with regular vim too and is definitely the easiest way to get completion and other LSP functionality (jumping to definitions, doc previews, error highlighting etc). https://githu

I wouldn't want my main test suite to be dependent on anything external. Ensuring a third party API is still doing what you think it's doing is a legitimate concern, but that test should be standalone and scheduled.

When I switched in 2018 my config essentially just worked, I had to replace a plugin that no longer worked but everything else went smoothly, the process took about ten minutes.

By what measure is it slower? I don't really notice any difference in doing day-to-day stuff, but I tried out tree across my entire ~/projects dir and got the following results: XTERM: 28032 directories, 196844 files tree projects

Take a look at the CAT S22. It runs Android lite so will be fine with authenticator apps and the other essentials like a browser and maps. https://www.catphones.com/en-us/cat-s22-flip/

I've just tried with Office 2013 and 2016, neither worked. Didn't make it as far as the installer screen each time. To make sure it was installed properly I tried Notepad++ and it worked flawlessly. Office is just a bit of a pain.

I started with Perl but moved to Ruby in the mid 00s. Ruby always felt like it gave me everything Perl did (performance aside, at the time), but with syntax that felt more intuitive.

The latter. Rails isn't cool but you see it used in so many places. I'm currently contracting with a UK Government dept and Rails is one of the two approved stacks, it's used on basically all externally facing projects.

I've been saying this for years. Reddit's official app is very poor and they've broken the mobile web experience by choice. The day Sync stops working will be my final day on the platform.

They're not even difficult to buy. In the UK most supermarkets will stock at least one variety where the bag is fully biodegradable. Sainsbury's, Aldi, Waitrose own brands are too I believe.
