Unions are strict because it's too easy to backslide and lose all you fought for. Union guys will in fact work in excess of overtime if they want to, but they're absolutely not going to let you take advantage of it. Some unions ar

You're probably right some are automated, but there is still a human behind it, I guess is my point, and even more behind them enabling it. And based on other things i've seen on the net, and heard in real life, I have zero doubt

Ok that is a great point, I'd think an hour still enough time for them to clear the most important stuff (i.e, bombs?)

Clearly I don't think they should be more aggressive, come on. I'm saying Israel loves to target civilians, and they make hollow claims to justify it, yet the evidence speaks for itself, they commit war crimes. Edit: And I forgot

Consider that someone had to kill those children, so I dont think its much of a shock to think there are other people who really support it. There are disgusting people everywhere in society, but before the internet they used to have to hid

So when everyone in the building got a call to evacuate, Hamas just said, "no, we'll stay!" If it were a real military target, they would have just bombed it outright, since you're "allowed" to do that in war..

How can you justify blowing up a building as a war target, if you're going to tell everyone to evacuate; what was that supposed to accomplish? They say there were targets in there, but if you told them to leave....what?? It is disgusti

The OP wrote it as if it were that, but the refugee bombing was done by Israel, so I think they were pointing out how Israel is just attacking soft targets

He just suddenly realized this? Its not like a new discovery... I'm confused why people still hang on his every word - he's impulsive, and a dick, two big warning flags. Meaning, either this isn't eco-conscience but rather so

I'd wager that at face value most of the public wouldn't want their neighbors sharing internet, if only for the liability risk (who wants to find out the hard way their neighbors kid was downloading kiddie porn)

(2020) My favorite mention in the article is a previous bug where selecting a STAR route with exactly 14 waypoints caused the system to freeze and go blank.

I'm curious, what happens if you already have it engaged on a supported road, but then the car transitions to a road where autosteer doesn't work? Does the car come to a stop, blast an alarm, or just veer off the road?

So raises the question, if autosteer wasn't available on that section of road, what would have happened if it were engaged prior to that stretch...does the car make loud alerts that steering is being deactivated?

I should have clarified that its in my own experience, based on some of the non-disclosure stuff I've had to sign. Everything depends on the employer though; they most likely could list it on their resume, but probably not much more th

its absolutely relevant...intent is everything. I mean, we're talking the core definition of the word, 'Predatory', exploiting others.

If you offer someone with the expectation they can't say no, that is in fact predatory. Many of these people have been loongg without work, I doubt they didn't expect people to bite thinking this is their big Hollywood break. I ca

Exposure doesn't work when you realize you've signed a contract saying you can't advertise that you worked on this TV show. The only exposure you'll get is that the production now knows you're a sucker to call again

It works like this sometimes, but people often look down on the fact that you gave away your work; if you're offering zero-cost, then you're probably zero-value, and undercutting someone else. True or not that's the impressio

Actually this isn't the norm. It happens often with tiny budget shows or college films, but not Netflix or real productions (netflix is footing the bill on this one) And it's still predatory. And if the rest of the show is shot un

I think posts like this are handy just for the extra exposure an alpha document might need; there's a lot of good feedback and discussion here that hopefully beej comes across someday and can finish the book

Reminds me of a NASA failure report where they determined the reason the satellite failed immediately after launch was because they built their own circuit-test device to match their assumptions rather than reality. But it passed their test
