'milkshake' is a compound noun, or at least Firefox's spell checker doesn't insist on hyphenation. To 'shake up' is perfectly idiomatic. Using 'up' as a standalone verb is less common and should be yo

I was surprised when this story was published in my local newspaper and picked up internationally as Apple have been firm in their product segregation that they have no public plans to (a) release an iPhone desktop dock (c.f. Samsung DeX) (

Ubuntu's Unity had the dock on the side - I believe inspired by the unusual 1024x600 screen on the Eee PC.

Aspect ratios are one thing but a number of tasks are just better in portrait. For that purpose I have a desktop monitor stand that rotates 90 degrees. Trickier on a laptop but can't someone design a 'convertible' with a rota

Does libhybris work with Allwinner SBCs? i.e. using ARM's proprietary driver for Mali from Android. (FOSS drivers might be in development but pragmatically I'd choose something that works)

There's a, not insurmountable, learning curve for both Sailfish and Ubuntu Touch. Quirky isn't necessarily better if you're trying to woo users who just want a familiar experience without learning new paradigms. The lack of a

In visiting a mobile webpage, an adblocker suffices. native apps can utilize advertising APIs, of which there's no way to turn off unless you install their $3.99 "Premium" app.

Yep, continuum seemed like a killer feature on release. But I wasn't prepared to pay $AU1000 to try out a Lumia 950 at the time and the 650 was far too anemic to support it.
