Thinking Menlo Park (or any of Silicon Valley, really) is in any way "extreme left-wing" is a sure indication you haven't spent any time there and are basing your viewpoints off of what others have said on social media. Billi

Wow, I've seen anyone mention Lego Loco before! That was a great game. I was horrible at it, but the art style and atmosphere was great.

Kinda funny that they're doing this over "brand protection" when their entire "brand" is just regurgitating worse versions of existing brands' characters.

If the worst we ultimately get from this kind of tech is grifting, I will consider that a very positive outcome.

Would love to know myself as well, but I haven't seen any. I'd imagine there's at least some demand in the Bay Area for events like this? We get a good amount of electronic/dance shows already, and the underground scene

I think this might be the single biggest factor, and it seems hard, if not impossible, for most people who grew up in financially comfortable situations to truly understand how much it affects every aspect of your life. I was fortunate to g

Even if the birth rate suddenly tripled, it wouldn't solve that issue for at least a generation. There's going to have to be other solutions, maybe in the form of automation/robotics/etc in conjunction with societal/

I sadly have to agree. Even ignoring all the poor design choices (the photos app, control center, etc), ugly new UI changes, and the confusing-at-best and misleading-at-worst integration of "AI", it's just incredibly unstable

They removed the LED? My 2023 model pro still has it. Google is failing me trying to find information about it, though.

I might be out of the loop, but I thought that was only for some machines - I remember the LED being wired that way being a selling point for MacBooks at some point, as a privacy feature. It definitely should be the standard, though!

That subscription fee is just too big of an obstacle in a time when everything has a subscription and is still often degrading in quality. Seems like an unsolvable chicken and egg scenario though, since relying on advertising to make it fre

I don't think this is a very accurate interpretation. Maybe for some, but I'd reckon sex, drugs, and alcohol (and partying in general) are more often than not used for the opposite reason.

I'm not quite as bad, but I'm still pretty damn bad. If you're a 10/10 on the bad-at-directions scale, I'm probably at a 7- 7.5. Any chance you have ADHD or anything along those lines?
