I'm a unversity student in Europe, and most things we learn make exactly zero sense. I stopped assuming rationality when it comes to CS education a long time ago. Yesterday we had to implement adding two numbers over SOAP. With that said, U

To be fair, gVim adds relatively the same features, file/save, etc.

First-year CS students don't read what's printed on the screen? Good lord how can we expect the average user to do the same?

Why was this downvoted? Adding 1 to any number field is just as an atomic operation as incrementation is in Redis.

Note that recent versions of Postgres can now COUNT against indices so no need to do a full table scan.

I find this especially true in the case of Haskell. When I tried to read "Real World Haskell" my brain melted halfway through.

That's interesting, I always thought of STL as a well-designed piece of library. Or is it just not specialised enough to fit your case?

There is no resource on that endpoint so nothing was really found. It is merely arbitrary that applications redirect you to a preconfigured URL to show that error.

There are times when you certainly need to put the dishes down and think something through and solve it, but often we should just finish what we started one by one.

What does this add to pandoc? In other words, why would I pay for this service? It obviously runs in the cloud, but I haven't found much else. In fact, my observation is that the API documentation was merely copy-pasted from the original. E

This is true, hence my use of "almost". On the other hand, there is a lot magic to eating pizzas and sipping diet cokes in the house by the lake only to play and make games. I just no longer see myself being able to be blessed by that privi

One of my favorite books. Almost makes me wish I was born at a different time and place. Even the Super Mario Warner Bros 4 rewrite Carmack made is two days older than me.

That's a very weak counterargument. Why would Microsoft prefer to carry on developing both interfaces when the majority of users will clearly prefer Metro?

Well, you want to embed the image from a source identified by URL, not refer to it. In fact, I wonder why we need to use href when invoking stylesheets.

That'd kind of defeat the whole point of linking a binary. Were you using cabal to build executables? What shared libs were missing on remote machines?
