I agree, it's dangerous to shrug off the link that the vaccine doesn't have any risk associated with it,but then there's also from the same article you linked earlier: > That compares with another study from Israel which f

True on the insulation, but having rented in one of those places, dealing with plumbing is an absolute nightmare. Same goes for electrical work, which can be all over the place. Structural repairs are very expensive too, because you need s

for what it's worth, my reading at my Drs office were in line with what my watch said and it's pretty good at tracking changes in intensity levels during a run workout.

I don't trust my garmins heart rate for anything beyond running. On my rowing machine it barely goes beyond 90 too, meanwhile I'm drenched in sweat. Must be something with the movement/positioning of the watch.

Has Vizios software gotten any better? I had a 2019 model and the software (had mine offline/neutered too) was too shitty to even use it as a dumb TV. For example it would randomly reboot while we were watching something via the HDMI i

The value of a House does depreciate, especially when not taken care of. Even then maintaining comes with significant costs. You have repairs like water heaters, plumbing, roof, painting, hvac l, kitchen, bathrooms, floors, the list goes on

Yes localized we've had bad flu years. The netherlands was hit pretty hard in 2017-2018 too and europe didn't shut down either. But you're comparing an epidemic to a pandemic here. Again, much much different scale. Or: a dise

good point, the study does not do fixed time intervals and tests all participants. Skimming the literature I've seen likelihoods reported of being covid positive and having no symptoms between 13% and 45% (and evidence that says they d

Idk about recent years, but opel has already been looking at closing sites in Germany, Bochum I believe was the most recent one. This smells like an excuse to do so eventually (Whether justified or not)

Dito here in germany (at least in my near family), the dishwasher essentially reuses the same water too to clean after rinsing, you just don't see it hehe. Suds are also not rinsed off in the UK if I recall? That would definitely safe

Speaking from my own childhood, I'd be curios if kids in China are going to try to circumvent this ban or if it is even possible to do so. (Similar to how homepages ask for your birthday... no one is going to check up on it). While thi

In addition prions seem to contain disulfide bonds, which tend to make proteins even more stable. (RNAse for example has them and is notoriously hard to get rid off unless you treat it with essentially H2S). I haven't found a source fo

I was close to getting one 2 years ago. Did the safety tests improve since then? If I recall the 2019 had issues with the roof / pillars, which were not strong enough to support the car in case you flipped it.

yeah I wouldn't count on prions being as easily denatured as other proteins. E.g. mad cow disease spread because prions are not killed by simply cooking / boiling it.

From my small sample size I'm seeing around ~500$ / month (33%) more for renting vs what you'd pay on a 30 year mortgage. This difference might be covered by total costs of ownership, but according to the nyt rent vs buy calc
