I'm sure this is all pseudo science, but maybe some of it's worth a little introspection instead of outright dismissal because it's not what people want to hear. I was actually very pleasantly surprised in that, unlike most &

That didn't happen for me. I did Maid Marion, Little John, The sheriff, Robin hood and the answer was about spot on. If I switched LJ and MM it was okay. Although I tend to think of myself as adventurous. I can't even conceive of

Hmmm. I wonder if quick one search stops allow us to cherry pick articles which we presuppose our world views. I know I've done it. Perhaps lengthy reading isn't necessary but the ability to focus sure is and I personally am of th

Hmmm... And I did this (had fb for a few years, deleted for a few, had for a semester abroad, deleted as soon as I had my first steady girlfriend, broke up and now about three and a half years later I'm back on). The problem I found wa

If there's one source of reading material I'd ever recommend whole heartedly it is certainly the New Yorker. Their articles are in depth, well researched, and engaging. I'm very happy my parents were subscribers and belive th

The thing is automatated translations are often awful to read. Hackernews is probably better off waiting for a native speaker to write up something about it because the article will maintain the interest of greater numbers of people

Good. The death penalty ensures a false incarceration can never be corrected, costs millions of tax payer dollars because of the long appeals processes, and shows no correlation with decreased crime rates (states with out the death penalty

Hey if the author reads this nice article! On my iPhone 5S running the latest iOS (8.3) and using Safari the pictures seem to cut off a bit. It might be worth checking out if you're interested. I enjoyed checking out the different uses

Nice. I'm sure there must be administrative stuff no? Shuffling employees around. Shutting down servers. Setting up the pipeline to deal with the telcos. Etc. Etc. But yea, it should be as simple as a switch, the rest is just after eff

Lots of great advice on hacker news lately. Whether it's to start embracing your time alone and doing activities on your own, or learning by doing the things which most excite and fulfill your desires, I'm enjoying it.

I hate typing on my phone so I'll make this short. When it comes to companies, diversity is far better than having whatever the equivalent of "everyone looks the same and has the same SAT scores" so presumably it'd proba

Yea, when someones 8-10 feet away they can close that gap in an instance. I didn't watch the video but if that's true it's amazing the office got their weapon out in time.

Well if deadlyfoxgrandpa's post is true that might make sense. You have to consider the additional load on the infrastructure of having more taxis on the road in an already congested area. He says passenger experience might go down wit

I wouldn't be surprised if this would make players want to cheat more. "Hey hey! Look at my character! 300,000 people watched him!". I don't really think making the ethics of an in game execution a big deal is really the
